This sympathetically and beautifully restored stone house is situated in the pretty bastide village of Mansonville, which is in the department of the Tarn et Garonne in the Midi-Pyrénées, South-West France.  Its pleasant rural location is only five minutes from the autoroute (A62/E72) making it an easy 55 minutes from Toulouse airport or 90 minutes from Bordeaux airport. Rental prices in 2014 for the property are from 500 GBP*

The house looks out into the village square and backs onto open land on the side of a small hill. It boasts a private pool to the rear of the house which benefits from all the summer sun, and a pleasant shaded terrace: the perfect combination for enjoying long leisurely days outdoors.  Whether you are looking for a quiet place to relax with friends, or a well-equipped base for a fun-filled family holiday, this is the perfect self-catering base for your next holiday in France. With a wide variety of local activities and places to visit, there's also plenty to see and do locally; from the renowned pink granite ('la ville rose') of old Toulouse to the picturesque canals and numerous fortified towns. The surrounding countryside is varied, with plenty of scope for walking, cycling and water sports. There are other sports facilities close by, including golf, tennis and horse riding.
